JLB Attends the 2018 SACOME Together Annual Gala and Awards

Last Wednesday saw a gathering of key players in the mining industry as the peak industry body SACOME (South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy) held its 2018 Together Annual Gala & Awards night at the Hilton Hotel, Adelaide. JLB was in attendance and the night saw the launch of the Recognition of SA's Resources Sector Awards. These awards provide SACOME member companies with a platform to publicly recognise an individual or team whose contribution was pivotal to the their firm’s success during 2017. 

SACOME is the peak industry body representing companies with interests in the South Australian minerals, energy, extractive, and oil & gas sectors. Member companies even include those organisations that provide goods and services to mining companies. The aim of SACOME is to promote the industry as well as stimulate collaboration and work sustainability. 
The night saw 5 high profile guest speakers sharing industry knowledge about current and upcoming projects in South Australia as well as exciting global impacts and prospects for resources moving forwards. These included:
