Water Testing

Meat Packers Special

Producers of packaged, ready to eat meat are now required to comply with Meat Hygiene Circular 4/08 for Listeria testing. AMS has been working with the industry to find the cheapest way to comply with MHU's requirements. For more information contact Joe McCreanor at ams@jlb.com.au.

Listeria testing

New guidelines for the control of Listeria in ready to eat smallgoods takes effect in November 2008.

AMS is currently developing a range of products to assist producers to meet these guidelines.

AMS Supporting Foodbank

AMS is also pleased to announce that following an approach from the Adelaide Convention Centre, AMS will provide complimentary testing services to assist the ACC in the provision of foods to Foodbank. Foodbank is a charity that distributes food and grocery donations to welfare agencies which feed the hungry.
